Personal and Company Journey
Building A Legacy of Care and Support
Dr. Belena Butler, PhD, RN, has over 30 years of experience as an intensive care and community nurse. Being a nurse and caregiver for her mom led her to create Caring Support & Solutions. She witnessed countless times patients and families struggle to understand care options, health information, and how to heal and move forward. Drawing on her professional background and personal experience, she successfully advocated for and managed her mother’s care for over 25 years. Due to the overwhelming needs of health consumers and caregivers, she started CS&S to help people get the care they need.
The Journey
Late 1990s
The Beginning
Dr. Butler began her nursing career in intensive care, witnessing firsthand the challenges patients and families face in navigating the healthcare system.
Dr. Butler became her mother's sole caregiver. Now for over 25 years, she has managed her mother's complex needs while furthering her education and caring for her family.

Caring Support & Solutions, LLC Founded
CS&S was established with a mission to help people navigate healthcare challenges and get the care they need through patient advocacy services.
Discovery
Due to the pandemic, services were halted for several years. During that time, Dr. Butler furthered her education and discovered life coaching. After providing services for over 10 years, she realized the power of coaching for her clients and became a certified life coach.

Care Coaching Begins
Many years after the pandemic, the gradual relaunch of CSS began with the service framework entitled The C.A.R.E. Approach (Coaching, Advocacy, Research, and Education), offering one-on-one coaching and care specialist support for individuals managing chronic conditions and caregivers seeking guidance. Education and research have always been important parts of the C.A.R.E Approach. CarePoint™ was created to provide free, up-to-date health information on a range of health topics. The goal for CarePoint™ is to grow and become one of the leading health and wellness locations where individuals and businesses can go to find reliable health information.

The Future -Wellness
Looking into the future, we plan to launch a Wellness Hub for those who want to learn about and participate in wellness activities. Dr. Butler has faced many challenges herself and knows the importance of wellness. The main goal remains to help people get the care they need, and wellness is now a key part of that.
